Do you find yourself struggling to get a restful night’s sleep? You are not alone.
GHC-SCW’s CBTi Sleep Better Group is a 6-week, evidence-based program designed to help adults improve their sleep using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi)—a first-line, research-supported treatment for insomnia and other sleep challenges.
What to Expect in the Sleep Better Group
Participants meet weekly in a supportive group setting to learn practical strategies that address sleep hygiene, stress, anxiety, pain, shift work difficulties and symptoms of depression. The program also includes the use of a daily 5-minute sleep diary to guide personalized changes to sleep habits and increase sleep efficiency.
This group is educational and encourages participation and discussion. It may not be suitable for individuals with untreated restless leg syndrome or obstructive sleep apnea.
Talk with your Primary Care Provider or Behavioral Health Provider for a referral. After the referral is processed, you’ll receive a GHCMyChart message (or phone call if you don’t have GHCMyChart set up) from a group facilitator to see if the CBTi Sleep Better Group is appropriate for you
