Important Notice - Public Health Emergency Unwinding

All Wisconsinites enrolled in BadgerCare Plus or Medicaid will need to renew their coverage between June 2023 and May 2024. If you’re currently enrolled in BadgerCare Plus or Medicaid, you will given a date when you need to renew.

Were you a member of BadgerCare Plus when the COVID-19 pandemic started? Or have you joined since March 2020? Don’t do anything until you get your renewal packet. Under federal guidelines, the WI Department of Health Services must keep you covered until your next renewal. If you renew early, you could lose your coverage earlier than necessary.
