Employee Benefits
Health and dental insurance benefits are offered to all employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week which is equivalent to a FTE of .50 or greater. Cost sharing of premiums between the employer and employee with multiple benefit plans to choose from.
Many coverage options are available including, employee only, employee +1, family and domestic partner coverage.
Flex plan accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars annually up to a maximum limit set by the IRS for eligible healthcare expenses that are not covered by health insurance and for childcare expenses.
GHC-SCW offers both an employer paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment and voluntary life insurance options to provide financial assistance should something unexpected happen.
- Life Insurance – pays a benefit to the designated beneficiary equal to two times annual salary with a maximum limit per the plan’s policy.
- Accidental Death & Dismemberment – pays a benefit to the designated beneficiary in the event of an accidental death equal to two times annual salary with a maximum limit per the plan’s policy.
- Voluntary Life insurance – additional coverage may be purchased up to seven times annual income with a maximum limit per the plan’s policy.
GHC-SCW provides short-term and long-term disability insurance coverage in the event you are unable to work due to a serious health condition. The benefit provides a percentage of income replacement with a maximum limit per the plan’s policy.
GHC-SCW offers a single bank of paid time off that is commonly used for vacation, sick time, and other personal needs. MTO accrues per payroll cycle which is based on FTE/hours worked.
GHC-SCW offers eight paid holidays each calendar year.
GHC-SCW allows employees to participate in the 403(b) program which allows you to make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) basis contributions up to the annual IRS limit. GHC-SCW will match employee contributions dollar for dollar up to 6%.
Long-term care encompasses services provided to individuals suffering from a chronic illness, disabling condition or cognitive impairment. These services are generally needed for an extended period and can be provided in your home, community, assisted living facility or nursing home. Plan options are available for employee purchase with our insurance partner.
