Access GHC EpicLink

GHC EpicLink for Providers is a secure online portal that gives doctors, providers, care teams and health system partners direct access to GHC-SCW patient information. With the GHC EpicLink provider login, you can review charts, submit referrals, check prior authorization statuses and confirm coverage, all in one streamlined system.

GHC EpicLink for Providers - Getting Started

Here you’ll find all of the resources you will need to get started with GHC EpicLink for Providers.
To set up your organization’s account, the Provider Site Coordinator Agreement and Partner Agreement must be completed. 

  1. Determine who in your organization will be the site coordinator. (If you are an individual user associated with an organization that already has a GHC EpicLink partner relationship with GHC-SCW, please contact your Site Coordinator at your organization to arrange access for you.)
  2. Contact the Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) Privacy Officer at privacy@ghcscw.com
  3. Review and sign the Provider Site Coordinator Agreement and Partner Agreement, which are linked below.
  4. The GHC-SCW security team will work with your site coordinator and any other staff necessary to provide access to GHC EpicLink.
  5. Visit GHC EpicLink and log in.
  6. Once your account is set up, you will have access to instructional guides on how to use GHC EpicLink. These are located under “Quick Links” on the landing page after you log in.

Patient Information Features

GHC EpicLink for Employers Resources

To check the status of a claim, a login is not required. You will need to use the Check Claim Status link from the GHC EpicLink login page.

Logging in is easy:

Visit GHC EpicLink

Enter your provider ID and password.

Passwords must be at least 5 characters, alphanumeric, and appropriately-assigned by the User to ensure security.

To use GHCEpicLink, you must use one of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome™ version 118 or later
  • Microsoft Edge version 118 or later
  • Mozilla FireFox™ version 115 or later
  • Apple Safari™ version 17 or later
  • Epic recommends Google Chrome™ or Microsoft Edge for viewing EKG and Spirometry because of limitations with PDF viewers (needed to display) on other browsers like Mozilla Firefox.

Log in to the portal, go to the Patient tab and select New Referral/Authorization. Complete the referral type, general information and diagnoses/services, then submit the request.

Yes. The Results Review and Chart Review tools allow you to search for lab results, medications, allergies and patient history. You can filter results, create flowsheets and trend data over time.

Yes. The portal is HIPAA-compliant and uses two-factor authentication to protect patient health information. Providers must only access records required for treatment, referrals or care coordination.

With the EpicLink provider login, you can view patient records, submit and track referrals, check coverage details, review lab results and access PlanFinder for benefit summaries.
