What is clinical health education?
Education empowers you to live a healthier life and make good decisions about your health and well-being. GHC-SCW clinical health educators are here to support and educate you. You can take part in clinical health education in classes or one-on-one appointments. Your primary care provider will connect you to the right resources for your specific goals.
With clinical health education, you can:
- Learn about preventing or managing chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes and hypertension.
- Learn how nutrition and eating affects your health, and make a plan to improve your eating habits.
- Understanding genetic testing options and results. For more information on genetic counseling, please call Member Services at (608) 828-4853 or (800) 605-4327, and request Member Services.
