If you are seeking immediate or urgent help with a behavioral health emergency, there are 24-hour crisis intervention services available for GHC-SCW members.

If you are experiencing a behavioral health emergency, including thoughts of suicide, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, please call GHC-SCW at (608) 441-3290.

For crisis intervention services outside of these hours, call
(608) 257-9700.  You will be assisted by a nurse or an on-call crisis counselor who will help you to address your behavioral health emergency and any safety concerns.


 

PLEASE NOTE: After hours behavioral health crisis DOES NOTprescribe medications, cancel, or make appointments, send messages to your BH provider, or connect you to your BH provider after hours.  For these services, please call M-F during business hours. 

You can also call the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. The lifeline accepts calls from anyone who needs support for a suicidal, mental health and/or substance use crisis.

If your situation is immediately life-threatening, please call 911 or safely get yourself to the nearest hospital emergency room.
