Virtual Urgent Care visits are appropriate for any member who needs on-demand access to high-quality, care for urgent health issues. However, BadgerCare Plus and non-member patients are not eligible for KeyCare virtual urgent care visits. Plan conditions may apply for members with HSA benefit or Medicare plans.
KeyCare Virtual Urgent Care visits are free for most members. Members with a high-deductible plan may have a copay fee per visit until their deductible is met. After their deductible is met, KeyCare Virtual Urgent Care visits will be free.

No, there is not a phone app for KeyCare. To access KeyCare, you just need access to GHCMyChart whether that be via the GHCMyChart app or the web browser on your smart device or computer.
You can access KeyCare through your GHCMyChart account on your computer, tablet or smartphone. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone to initiate the visit. You won’t have to create any new sign-ons or download additional apps. You can use the GHCMyChart App but it is not necessary.

E-Visits are a way to electronically receive 24/7/365 non-emergency medical care without an actual video or in-person office visit. Members can be at home, in the office or anywhere else via the internet using their computer, tablet or smartphone. During the e-visit, you will enter information related to your symptoms. This information will be reviewed by a provider who will provide a response with guidance through GHCMyChart. If the condition is better treated with an in-person appointment, the provider will respond with their recommendation.
E-Visits are a great option to treat a wide range of minor, routine medical issues, including:

No, the E-Visit will be with a licensed provider partner through KeyCare.
E-Visits are available for members ages 5 and older. However, ages 5-12 can only be seen for skin rash and eye problems and ages 12-17 can only be seen for skin rash, eye problems and upper respiratory symptoms. Members must be physically located in any state except Mississippi or New Mexico. Those two states are not covered for KeyCare E-Visits. Restrictions and limitations apply for BadgerCare Plus and non-member patients. Plan conditions may may apply for members with a HSA benefit or Medicare plans.
Yes. However, proxy access will need to be submitted and approved before the visit. It can take up to 7 days for KeyCare to approve the access. Therefore, we suggest parents/guardians set this up prior to care being needed. Visit mychart.keycare.org, create or log in to your GHCMyChart account, click on the “Menu” and under “Sharing” select “Request access to your loved one’s account”.
Children ages 12-17 are able to set up their own KeyCare GHCMyChart account with the consent of their parent/guardian and start an E-visit on their own.

Members will receive an initial response within 2 hours of submission from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m CST. If it’s after 11:00 p.m CST., then the response will occur before 8:00 a.m CST.

No. E-Visits are asynchronous, meaning the visit does not take place in real-time. There is no face-to-face component to the visit. However, members have the ability to submit photos of their condition. (A photo submission is required for skin rashes and eye problems).
Yes, if medically appropriate. An E-Visit does not guarantee a prescription. It will be the provider’s discretion based on the symptoms and history of your illness.
Return to GHCMyChart and go to the Messaging Center. The provider’s message back will be here with instructions of the treatment plan and what pharmacy they sent your prescription to, if one was needed.
