2026 Ballot Referendum
Referendum Background
At the June 25, 2026 Annual Member Meeting, GHC-SCW members voted to move forward with a membership-wide vote to amend the GHC-SCW Bylaws. In accordance with GHC-SCW’s Bylaws, within 90 days of the Annual Member Meeting, all eligible Voting Members will have the opportunity to consider and vote on the proposed Bylaw amendments presented at the meeting.
Voting will begin on September 14, 2026 and close on October 12, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Voting Information
Eligible Voters: Founding Members and Class A Members (“Voting Members”) in good standing. Each voting member may only vote once. Voting by proxy is not allowed.
How to Cast Your Vote: All eligible GHC-SCW voting members may vote online or by mail-in paper.
Vote Electronically: You are encouraged to vote electronically. All you need to cast an electronic ballot is your last name, member number and your home zip code.
Requesting a Paper Ballot: Requests for a paper ballot must be in writing and include your name, GHC-SCW member number, address and date. Requests may be sent via e-mail to dannen@ghcscw.com or by mail at the return address listed below. A paper ballot will be mailed to you.

Completed paper ballots must be received no later than Monday, October 12, 2026, in a sealed envelope bearing the signature of the member on the outside of the envelope.
Ballot Referendum Process and Details
As of June 25, 2026, GHC-SCW has 54,113 voting members.
GHC-SCW’s Bylaws require votes to be cast by at least 10% (5,411) of the entire voting membership for any proposed amendment on the ballot referendum to move forward. (Section 2.7.G(2)(e))
Each proposed amendment will be voted upon separately.
Each proposed amendment has voting options for:
- Approving the proposed amendment
- Not approving the proposed amendment
- Abstaining
Proposed Amendment Approved: If at least 10% of voting members participate and the majority of votes for “Approve the proposed amendment” (at least 2,706 of 5,411) then the proposed amendment passes.
Proposed Amendment Failed: If at least 10% of voting members do not participate OR if 10% of voting members vote, but the majority votes for “Do not approve the proposed amendment” then the proposed amendment will fail.
