Prior Authorization may be required to access in-network community providers who contract with GHC-SCW to provide certain specialty medical care services. Authorizations for community providers are not guaranteed if there is appropriate availability with GHC-SCW providers. Please be aware that both Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessments and treatment require prior authorization. For members who need a verified diagnosis of ASD, speak to your GHC-SCW primary care provider regarding next steps. For members who already have a verified diagnosis of ASD, participating providers should submit a request for prior authorization to the GHC-SCW Care Management Department.
